Officials Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Official for women’s lacrosse.

WWLOA (Washington Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and facilitate a safe environment for women’s lacrosse, to train and provide ratings for new Officials, to develop and retain experienced Officials, and to contribute to sportsmanship and teamwork in women’s lacrosse.

WWLOA trains and provides Officials for youth, high school, college and post-collegiate women’s lacrosse games in the state of Washington. The primary season occurs during the spring from late-February to June. Games and tournaments are also played in the summer and fall. Officials serve as independent contractors are not employees of WWLOA.

WWLOA has a training and development program that teaches an individual how to be a successful Official. Most training occurs prior to the spring season. Officials for youth games must be in high school and earn $20 – $40 per game. New adult Officials earn $20 - $50 per game depending on the level of play.

You do not have to have lacrosse experience to be an Official. Instead, you need to be willing to learn, be physically fit, have email access for game assignments and notifications, and be able to provide your own transportation to and from games.

Please complete the following form if you would like to receive information about WWLOA and Officials training opportunities. WWLOA will not share your information with others and you may Unsubscribe at anytime.
