On-Field Training for Junior Officials

New and Returning Junior Officials are required to participate in on-field training and earn a rating. The focus of on-field training is to teach, support and encourage prospective umpires. There is no fee for on-field training.

**2019 On-Field Training Dates:

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 10PM MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2019*

Saturday, March 16th, 2019
- Perrigo Park: 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Curtis High School: 9:00am

Sunday, March 17th, 2019
- Marymoor Park: 9:00am - 4:00pm FULL
- Perrigo Park: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Juniors must choose at least one outlying (far away) field location within their two alternatives. We cannot guarantee that your first choice option will be available for participation.

During on-field training, junior officials will:

Umpires will be contacted by email, after on-field training, with written feedback and rating determination.

Advance registration is required for on-field training. Register early. There are a limited number of spots available for each on-field training session. Because of this, WWLOA cannot guarantee you will you will be assigned to the on-field training session you selected.

You will be notified by WWLOA of the date, time and location of the on-field training session to which you have been assigned. You will also be notified by WWLOA if no openings are available for the session you selected.

Please arrive at the field at least 30 minutes before the designated start time to allow time to check-in and meet the trainers.
